Breaking: Asian Elephants to OKC.

Breaking: Woodland Park Zoo is announcing it is moving it's Asian elephants to Oklahoma City.

Well, at least we still have the Sonics!  Oh, no, that's still too soon.  Oh, that hurts.

Light Rail Through Shoreline Could Displace Over 100 Homes and Businesses

Sound Transit has warned over 100 homes and businesses in Shoreline that they may lose their property in order to build light rail to Lynnwood.  That's the bad news.  The good news is that we will have light rail to Lynnwood, so that should remove 11, maybe 12 cars from the road!

Kirkland Bans Plastic Bags

In a move sure to annoy anyone trying to shop in Kirkland, the city has chosen to ban disposable plastic bags, and added a fee of 5 cents to paper bags should customers choose to use them.

The law is part of a social engineering effort to get customers to bring reusable bags, which help prevent garbage waste, and have the added benefit of being filled with germs and bacteria from prior grocery expeditions.

Bertha Moves!

Good news.  Bertha moved a whole six feet overnight!




Soon she will be repaired and then we can get on with the business of building a tunnel that nobody wants!
